It all started with mobile transactions for the unbanked.
In 2009, Telenor launched Easypaisa – Pakistan’s first mobile money transfer service. Simple and easy transactions via our nation-wide agent network enabled millions of Pakistani citizens to use banking services on their mobiles in a secure and efficient way.
Since then, Financial Services has become a substantial new business area for Telenor Group with around 25 million active customers in 7 countries, with a broad service portfolio reaching from simple money transfers to digital payments and banking – to name a few.
